Gretchen Wilson took the country music world by storm when she released her #1 hit song “Redneck Woman” in 2005. She immediately landed an opening slot with Brooks & Dunn and would go on to tour with Kenny Chesney the following year. Since the days of being an opening act, Wilson has been fortunate enough to have been able to host artists like Trace Atkins and Van Zandt on her own headlining shows. 2012 was a prolific year for Gretchen as she would embark on one of the year’s hottest tour packages: “The Outlaw Tour with ZZ Top and 3 Doors Down”.

In 2014 Gretchen took some time off to be a full time mom to her daughter but returned several years later with an album and a tour that picked up right where she left off. Her live shows are a trip back to the old days featuring familiar titles and a band that rocks as hard as the Redneck Woman does.

Gretchen Wilson has been a hit songwriter in country music ever since she burst on the scene with her #1 song “Redneck Woman” in 2005, which she co-wrote with John Rich (of Big & Rich). Along with her good friends and fellow Muzik Mafia members, Gretchen would go on to write the majority of the songs and releases during her time with Sony Records.

Gretchen has continued to collaborate with some of Nashville’s most talented songwriters since starting her own record label and has recently released an album entitled “Ready To Get Rowdy” where she co-authored all songs on the record for the first time in her songwriting career.

In 2010, and just months from splitting with her former label, Grammy award winning singer songwriter Gretchen Wilson released “I GOT YOUR COUNTRY RIGHT HERE” via her own label REDNECK RECORDS. The album’s 1st single “WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER” became Wilson’s 1st top 15 hit since 2005.

REDNECK RECORDS has released 5 more albums since its debut including “RIGHT ON TIME, UNDER THE COVERS and CHRISTMAS IN MY HEART” in 2013. The following year would see Gretchen’s 1st live concert video with the release of a 10 year anniversary tribute to her 1st album entitled “STILL HERE FOR THE PARTY”. Gretchen’s most recent album “READY TO GET ROWDY” was released in the spring of 2017.

2018 brought about a new chapter for REDNECK RECORDS as Gretchen Wilson signed its newest artist and next redneck woman to the label. Oregon native, singer/songwriter Jessie G joined the roster and began to deliver what is fast becoming a formidable body of work.

Gretchen Wilson has always been a powerful voice in country music, and the same can be said about her standing in the studio. Even during the recording of her debut album “Here For The Party” in 2005, Gretchen has always been adamant about being true to her musical influences in her sound.

Gretchen began producing her own albums when she started her own label in 2009. The first album on Redneck Records entitled “I Got Your Country Right Here” would see the release of “Work Hard, Play Harder”, it was her 1st top 20 hit since 2006.

Gretchen has produced 5 more projects since then. Working sometimes on her own, and sometimes with good friend and renowned producer Blake Chancey, Gretchen is most proud of the opportunity to work with such outstanding people in the studio.
